Ann (I call her Annie) is a happy, loving, energetic puppy. She loves to be by her human and is a little lost when outside without her human. She is learning quickly, (kennel, leave it, stay), of course, it's not 100%. She will calmly lie in the living room at the feet of her foster mom, but she also loves to play with toys. She will chew on Benebones, and other hard dog bones, chase balls and pull apart stuffies. Outside she is fascinated by leaves that are blowing in the wind, sticks on the ground, and lots of smells. She is very inquisitive and follows the resident dog's guidance. She has happy barks while she eats and has started to wag her tail during eating time too. She met a one-year-old kiddo and enjoyed licking his face and was quite gentle with him. She wasn't overwhelming for him. She has been taking directions well and is learning what things she is able to chew on, and those she may not (shoes, magazines, cords, and so on).
Ann's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers sterilization, vaccines appropriate at the time of adoption, and any additional medical costs accrued during rescue stay.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed, are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
