Hi Everyone, My name is Jughead (I’ll tell you about that in a bit) but I go by Ruby. I came from a reservation and was found with my head stuck in a jug, hence the name. My foster dad thought Ruby was more fitting since I’m such a gem. I LOVE to snuggle, I don’t care if it is with a person, a dog, or a cat. Right now I live with my foster dad, two dogs, and 5 cats. I’m about 6 months old so I’m still learning and like to play. Sometimes the cats look fun to chase but I listen really well when my foster dad says “leave it” and “come” and don’t chase the cats. I have lots of fun watching them and sitting in the window with them. The dogs are a lot of fun too, I have fun chasing them and wrestling with them, and going on walks is the best thing ever. Sometimes on walks we see other people or hear loud noises and I get a little nervous but then I get brave and keep walking. I know how sit and love getting a treat for doing it. I’m completely potty trained and haven’t had a single accident at my foster home. When I have to go I started to get a little antsy so my foster dad knows to let me out. I know how to “kennel” and will go into my crate if I’m told. I do crate in the crate and sleep in there every night and don’t make a sound. I do prefer to sleep on the sofa, but my foster dad says it is important for me to be kennel trained.
I'm a really fun girl and can't wait to meet you!
Jughead (Ruby)'s adoption fee is $400 which covers her spay, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue’s care.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed, are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
