Hi! My name is Ajax. I am a very loving boy who is ready to find my forever home in Minnesota. I went through a lot to get here! My foster mom in Texas said I was found living as a feral pup in the woods in my younger months! I'm not sure I remember a ton about that, I'm just happy to be in a warm and safe home now. I am still quite a nervous pup and will need your patience as I take my time to trust people and learn how to be a carefree dog, living my best life! But my foster mom says I'm a very good boy, so I'm totally worth it. Because of my past, I do have some quirks. I probably would not do well with solely male owners. If a male does live in the house, he would just need to understand that I'll have to take my time warming up to him, and may growl or bark when he's nearby. I do let up though, I'm just scared and I need to feel men out a bit. I'm also not 100% sure how to interact with humans comfortably just yet and get startled with quick movements and noises. My foster mom is working with me on my confidence though and I'm working to get there! I'm also working very hard on my potty training skills and I'm just about there in being fully trained. I have two foster brothers right now who I'm carefully observing. It'd be great if my forever home had dogs- I love them! I'm happy to cuddle with my foster mom when I feel most safe and relaxed. I like her to initiate though, as I'm not sure I'm quite ready to initiate contact just yet with people- unless it's to get a treat. I know those are safe 😉 Also, I do a good job in my crate! Are you ready to become my best friend and use this quarantine time to teach me all I need to know about being a well loved and safe dog? P.S. my foster mom says my puppy coat is like velvet!
