Pumpkin

Hello potential adoptive family! My name is Pumpkin and I am a 2 year old spayed black lab mix. My foster family doesn’t think I look much like “Pumpkin” but I don’t seem to know that is my name yet and could be re-named! I am originally from Texas and found myself with Northern Lakes Rescue after being transferred from a foster home down south. I am very sweet and even like hugs. 

Pumpkin is food motivated and so she is very easy to train. She currently knows sit, shake, down, stay, off, and look at me. She is also fully house and crate trained. She is good on a leash generally, and we are working on not pulling when passing other dogs. She does not get into things around the house and chews only on appropriate things like her toys. She would love if you played fetch with her anywhere, anytime.

Pumpkin is a medium to large sized dog and would probably be most comfortable in a house, although an apartment with ample space may be suitable.
