I would like to introduce myself. I am Wriggly. I am learning so much right now. The resident dogs, and Pepino, are teaching me so much about what I can and can't do. I am learning to go potty outside and if I do say so myself, I am doing a great job! I also learned how to use the stairs. I still think they are a bit scary. I have little legs and they can be intimidating. I do like to chew on things. I have tons of chew toys to keep me occupied. I do require that in my new home. I definitely don't want to chew on something that I shouldn't! I am also just learning how to be confident. I do get scared of loud noises and can be hesitant to come when called. Everything is so new! It sure is fun to learn all these new things. I even get treats when I learn something new!
I am also from Texas and unlike my foster brother Pepino, I love playing in the snow! I don't necessarily love the cold but the snow is fun! I also enjoy chasing after the resident dog. She runs after this thing called a ball and brings it back to her mom to throw again. I don't understand why she keeps giving it to her. My foster mom just keeps throwing it and my friend has to keep running after it. If I were her, I would just keep it! I think it is a silly game.
I also live with two cats. I really like them but I am not sure how they feel about me. That's ok. I have lots of friends to play with. You should also know that I snore. Apparently, I snore loud! And I also sleep in these weird positions. My foster mom loves taking pictures of me doing all these things she thinks is cute. Truthfully, she thinks everything I do is cute! I know she loves me. She keeps kissing me even when I just want to play!
I hope as you read this, you feel I would be a great addition to your family. I look forward to meeting you!
Wriggly's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers sterilization, vaccines appropriate at the time of adoption, and any additional medical costs accrued during rescue stay.
We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed, are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website www.northernlakesrescue.org
